The Cleveland Clinic’s devotion to design, and its impact on a patient’s treatment, is the inspiration behind its new Taussig Cancer Center, designed by William Rawn Associates Architects, Inc. and Croix Ability Services. Organized by cancer type, it centralizes patient appointments in one area. Natural light and views are abundant. The Precision Cancer Medicine Building solves a complex puzzle for UCSF at the Mission Bay Campus by consolidating UCSF’s current solid tumor practices. In addition to clinic space for most cancers, it houses chemotherapy infusion, radiology, pathology, radiation oncology, blood draw, a patient resource center, and support services.
