Classroom/Virtual Course
This hands-on course engages attendees in health and safety discussion on ground disturbance topics. Legislative guidelines and standards—such as planning before digging and establishing emergency response plans—specify the requirements needed to prevent accidents or injuries on excavation and trenching sites. Join us as we discuss the importance of following safe work practices, soil classification, means of egress, recognizing hazards such as cave-ins, performing risk assessments, and hiring competent people to work on site.
